Overview
As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing data to gain valuable insights and support data-driven decision making in our clients’ businesses. Your role may also involve using data and artificial intelligence technologies to automate and optimize business processes. Your specific responsibilities may vary depending on the project, client, and industry.
What you can expect
- Data collection: Collect and compile data from multiple sources, including databases, spreadsheets, APIs, and more.
- Data cleansing: Clean, transform, and preprocess data to ensure accuracy and reliability. Dealing with missing data and outliers
- Data analysis: statistical and exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations in data
- Data visualization: creating clear and informative data visualizations, such as charts, graphs, and dashboards, to effectively communicate results
- Reporting: create and deliver regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and insights to different audiences
- Hypothesis testing: hypothesis testing to validate assumptions and hypotheses using statistical techniques
- Predictive modeling: building and maintaining predictive models using machine learning
- Data analysis: providing actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support decision-making processes
- Data management: ensuring data quality, integrity, and security in compliance with relevant regulations and standards
What background fits best
- University degree in statistics, mathematics or computer science, Master’s degree is a plus
- 3+ years of professional experience in Data Analytics
- Strong knowledge of data analytics tools and programming languages such as Python or R
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Matplotlib/seaborn
- Knowledge of database management and SQL for data extraction
- Thorough understanding of statistical concepts and techniques
- Excellent communication skills to communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts
- Experience with data mining and machine learning algorithms
- International experience and German language skills are a plus
